Limanni was born in Bomu Gokana LGA, Rivers State, Nigeria. He grew up with his parents, Mr. Pius Domka Baritule Nfo and Mrs. Beatrice Sira Nfo, but later moved to Port Harcourt to live with his aunt, a pastor and children’s teacher at Assemblies of God Church, along with his younger sister.
He attended Set of Wisdom Nursery and Primary School and later graduated from Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Romuokwrushe, Port Harcourt.

Limanni comes from a blended family of five children, though two siblings passed away, leaving three surviving siblings. He is the second-to-last child. Despite early disagreements with his family over pursuing music, Limanni remained committed to his passion.

Limanni discovered his love for music at the age of 10 as a Sabbath member in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. He began performing during children’s programs at Assemblies of God Church alongside his sister. Their performance was so powerful that the Senior Reverend celebrated them by “spraying money” in appreciation while the congregation cheered.
Though his passion for music initially caused conflict within his family, Limanni stayed focused on developing his craft. Together with friends, he improvised instruments, freestyle raps, and sang in their neighborhood, which strengthened his creativity.
Even at school, he wrote songs during classes and faced punishment for it, but his determination never wavered. Limanni describes his music as a medium for happiness, emotion, and storytelling, with the goal of inspiring people globally.
