Leo Denza was born into the family of Mr. Justin Ukeji and Mrs. Catherine Ukeji, who hails from Mbaikpiam, Tsanyi-Kpav in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. He comes from a family of ten children and is the ninth child. Growing up in a large household played a significant role in shaping his worldview, inspiring many of the themes of unity, faith, and compassion found in his music.

Leo Denza began his early education at St. Michael’s Nursery and Primary School, Abaji Kpav, where he studied from 2007 to 2013. He later attended Godiva Model College, Adikpo, completing his secondary school education between 2013 and 2019.
