S.G. Johnfog, popularly known by his stage name Johnfog, is a Nigerian masked recording artist, songwriter, and performer known for his unique musical style, bold sound, and socially conscious lyrics. He gained recognition in the Nigerian music scene following the release of his debut single Ko Guiding in 2026.
Early Life and Education
Johnfog was born in Nigeria and hails from Lagos State. He spent part of his childhood in Ogun State, where he completed his primary education before returning to Lagos to finish both his primary and secondary school education.
He is the third child in a family of seven children, consisting of three boys and four girls. Johnfog is married and blessed with two daughters.
Music Career
Johnfog began his musical journey in the late 1990s as a member of the RCCG Foreign Mission Band. Through dedication and leadership, he eventually became the leader of the band.

Following his experience with the group, he established his own music band known as Xfaces (Christ Faces), a platform through which he further developed his artistry and musical vision.
In January 2026, Johnfog officially launched his solo career with the release of his debut single, “Ko Guiding.” Three months later, he followed up with his second single, “Ghetto Story,” which further showcased his storytelling ability and lyrical depth. During the same period, he also released the official music video for Ko Guiding.
